Description

This dataset documents plant species recorded in Broghil National Park, located in the Hindukush region of Chitral, Pakistan. The data were collected through field surveys, and species were identified using standard botanical methods. Broghil Valley is a biodiversity hotspot with unique alpine flora, including several rare and locally endemic species. This dataset supports conservation, ecological research, and biodiversity monitoring in the region

Geographic Coverage

Broghil Valley is a remote high-altitude region located in the northernmost part of Chitral District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. Situated in the Hindukush Mountain range near the Afghan border, the valley is part of Broghil National Park and is known for its rich biodiversity, alpine meadows, and unique flora and fauna.
